July 22, 2023 19th Annual Clay County Cruisers Car and Truck Show
Man what a great day!! I can't hardly believe that we could have had such a beautiful day at the end of July in Southern Illinois. Mid 80's for tempuratures, low humidity and just a few white puffy clouds to break up the bright blue sky. As always, and I always mention it but it is the cars and the people that make the shows great and make all the work worth the effort. This year we had 108 cars registered plus 10 club cars for the spectators to enjoy. A great big THANK YOU to the club wives that organize and run the registration table and the City of Flora for providing the perfect venue for our display. Also for the first time, this year we had a live band, The Benefits, play for the participants and spectators. Next year will be our 20th year in the car show game, come by and see if we can cook up any more surprises. See you then.
